Hi Guys:
I designed a 3-4GHz, VCO with -126dBc/Hz of phase noise at 1MHz offset, the VCO is terminated with an open drain buffer with 50Ohms of loading, when I integrate a BGR(Bandgap Reference) circuit with 70dB of PSRR suppression to the open drain buffer biasing, the phase noise degrades tremendously. My question is, do BGR serve as a good option for this biasing purpose. Thanks in advance.
