Question about harmonic?

what is different between positive harmonic and negative harmonic ,why we need
to care positive harmonic ,don't care negative harmonic?

harmonics with negative frequency are negative harmonic and harmonics with positive frequency are positive harmonic .
it depends application that we must care negative harmonic or not.

we cannot generate a negative frequency in our lab..anyway we are using it to represent a complex frequency signal
