Input matching to 50ohm
can we just place two 50ohm resistors at the gates of the input amplifier? I dont think this works as the gate capacitance would form loading at this frequency?
for matching do we have to obtain 50ohm real umpedance for the whole spectrum of the signal?
please help me it is very important.....
is your problem matching in wide BW ? (DC ~ 3GHz) ?
hello,
this might be helpfull , it talks about 50 OHM matching and presents some techniques but all of them affect noise of LNA.
P.S. they are talking in general >> i dont know what PCB traces mean ?
yes....can you please help me with it?
hello again,
try this link : http://www.circuitsage.com/matching.html
Is it really possible to have such a matching at all. Wide band and at the gate of the MOSFET. My opinion I am very sceptical about it, unless you have some shunt feedback at the input it is not possible.
If you acheive by any other way please let me know.
Prakash.

excuse me i cant answer u
u can match your net by using taper i.e. step or exponential
if u dont have an experience in it u should see some microwave book like collin
if u can use software, it is a simple work in it, 1 of the best software is ADS i do it with that
