can anyone tell me what difference between envelop output(short circuit model) and open circuit model ,when using ptolemy cosimulation.


if selected different model ,will it affect final measurement result?

In the case of short circuit model, the RF device will use the input impedance of the next stage as its load.

In the case of open circuit model, the device is isolated from the next stage, however, the signal still goes through. The input impedance of the next stage won't affect the RF device, normally a 50ohm load should be put as the load of the RF device.

In either case, the final results should be the same if the RF device sees the same load impedance.
