A good quality heliax will give good results up to 3.5GHZ.... but it is all down to the frequency you want to use
It is also a function of the diameter. Larger diameters means lower loss until the circumference becomes near a half wave length.
I have seen a special made cables a foot in diameter. It was rigid and custom built to reach from the transmitter to the antenna in a direct straight line.
