Meshing problem of helix coil (non planar) in Ansys Maxwell

Hi everyone. I am trying to simulate a non planar helix coil in Ansys Maxwell but the simulations can't go past the initial meshing step. I posted about this problem at the end in one of my earlier related post but I couldn't find the reason anywhere. Simulating planar coils for Wireless Power Transfer is working out just fine. But these elongated helix coils are taking such a long time. I have attached the Maxwell file of my design. If anyone has simulated this kind of electromagnet , kindly suggest how I can simulate this kind of design.

I have simulated a prototype by designing a solid loop around a core and exciting a section of it as given in Maxwell guide. But I intend to simulate it exactly like helix coils(30 turns).

[Update] specifically the meshing taking unusually long time in the step 'curve feature preservation'

Is making a helix in Maxwell the same as in HFSS? If so, when you make your initial figure to sweep, I select changing "Number of Segments" from 0 to something like 8 or 12. This will make the simulation more polygonal and run more efficiently. It sounds like you need to reduce curves in general. Although sweeping wit the helix tool will start to reduce that. Earlier I shared with you a model for a loop inductor; I believe that model uses even more polygons if you can import it to Maxwell. Or is that what you are using now?

Just curious, are you a student currently? If so, it might be worth your time to investigate your local server resources if you haven't already; I've found that doing even remotely complicated HFSS simulations on a personal device very inefficient. Using a remote desktop that you can leave alone while you continue to do other work is very convenient!

Yes meshing in Maxwell and HFSS is a similar process. I checked it with the coil design you shared. Thank you so much for your help. You just saved my life .

Making the coils polygonal , the meshing is simulating normally. Reducing the curve was what needed exactly. This has been bugging me since then and then I gave up on designing it like actual helix. Thanks to you now I can model it exactly as it is . I have looked for the answer in many places around the net but couldn't get the right answer.

And yes I am a undergraduate student. Yes correct it will be a good idea to use a local server. I will look into it surely if I can do that . Anyway thanks a ton again for your help. This is going to help me immensely.

Best regards
