大家好，mentor的ATPG中的good simulation 和fault simulation有什么作用啊?
手册中说The purpose of fault simulation is to determine the fault coverage of the current pattern source for the faults in the active fault list. The purpose of “good” simulation is to verify the simulation model.
fault simulation 是检查当前patter的coverage，这个不是应该在ATPG的时候工具就应该自动检查吗?为什么还要我们手动去跑falt simulation?在mentor的流程图里，ATPG，FAULT，GOOD，三种是并列的，按理来说他们就应该是平等的啊，难道mentor产生pattern时工具不进行仿真吗?都要手动的去仿真?新手提问，请大家多多发言啊。小弟谢过大家
