LNA's Problem!

I try to put it in the liquid nitrogen and it fail. Can you tell why?
By the way, I find the gain will be the funtion of the temperature but not great energh in the lower but fail in 77K
What parts does the LNA consist of? Are all parts and materials rated for these low temperatures? Have you checked with the component manufacturers?
thermal stress can destroy devices. specialy sedaled in plastic, with no opurtunity to free strech.
I cooled down in nitrogen crystal oscillator (11.059MHz) with BC547 but it work well. Sometimes it work, sometimes it not. On satelites they warm up devices with resistor.
LNA are made of transistors bonded on ceramic substrates (for low temp)
