need help in ads?

hi guys..

i need help to implement specification for VCO and mixer diodes in ads.

i need to simulate them all to implement receiver circuit in circuit simulation..
that anybody can help me and teach me how to take the specification
for VCO (minicircuits) and barrier diode (agilent) that are not in ads ibrary, so that i can implement for my receiver in ads2003c.

for your information. i'm doing the simulation on circuit simulation and not system level simulation.

and check for minicircuuits models

For a VCO , what are the most important specifications? Think that once !

-Frequency Band
-Output Level
-Phase Noise
-VCO Gain
-Tuning Range
-Output Impedance
-Harmonic Levels
-Power/Current Consumption
-Pulling Characteristic
-Pushing Characteristic....

etc.

By the way, you can modelize your own VCO in ADS by interpreting the printed specification of any brand VCO.Maybe you'll not find so much parameters to enter but it's better to have nothing..

For the diodes , you wil always find either approximative or exact models, no problem.
