Hi, everybody
I know the variety of RF connectors for antenna measurement, such as SMA, MMCX, IPX, HIROSE and so on. Also, the characteristic impedance of these connectors is 50 ohm that meet RF measurement instrument, my question is:
What things should we pay attention to measure an antenna, include human and instrument effects?

hello,
really i dont get the point, since the connector you use is dictated by the antenna, and the measurement setup has to adapt to that connector. I mean if your antenna has a sma connector and your cables are N, then you must use an SMA-N transition.
The selection of your antenna connector is dependent on other factors which are linked to the communication system where your antenna fits.
criteria for the proper connector choice are
1: interface definition (antenna - receiver or antenna - transmitter)
2: power handling
