When to connect RF Bypass capacitor, and a Resistor in place of RF choke?

H, RF choke (Inductor) is used to isolate AC signal and DC like wise DC blokcing capacitor is also used for the same purpose.

*figures taken from Internet.

1.As shown in figure (1), when to use Rbias in place of Lchoke as in Figure (2).
2.As shown in Figure (3), when to connect RF bypass capacitor and its purpose.
3. On what basis the values for RF bypass C and R are calculated.
4. In Figure (4), at the gate of M2, sometimes I have seen, a resistor in series with the DC source and a capacitor in parallel with DC source and resistor combination is connected. What is their purpose and does this modify the bandwidth of the circuit. And how to find their values. Thanks

Depends on the frequency of operation.
Resistors can be used because SRF of the Coils are very close or exceeds it.This is valid for capacitors too..
Coil can be part of matching circuit.. It's an option.
Capacitors can be multiple due to filter a wideband frequency or improve IMD ..
You're asking a very general question and it has many answer..
