Where can I get info on WiMAX
Hi
You can start here:
http://www.wimaxforum.org/home
http://www.intel.com/netcomms/technologies/wimax/
All the best
Be aware that these presentations to the public are done by advertising people with no technical skills. They will not describe the usual case of mutual interference and multipath reducing the communication bit rate to about 1% or less of what the advertisements say.
picoChip introduced new chipset for WiMax. Also, you can check their site (www.picochip.com) for reference design and some info on implementation of basic WiMax blocks.
WiMax is actually implementation of IEEE 802.16 standards. You will get the draft of IEEE 802.16-2004 draft at www.ieeeexplore.org.
Intel's tech journal issue contaiins info about WiMax. Go to link --
http://developer.intel.com/technolog...ue03/index.htm
Also, you search in google for wimax or ieee 802.16. you will get info.
But this is overview about Wimax
WHo have the IEEE 802.16 standard? please share to me
You can buy at IEEE or search for one of the drafts which very similar to the final standard.
802.16d -> search for "P80216-REVd_D5.pdf"
The fixed 256-FFT standard is described by 16d the scaleable 128-2048FFT standard by 16e.
Try www.wimax.org
