I notice that 802.11 lan cards are limited to 100 mW EIRP in europe.

Then I see some high power video transmitters running at 2.4 GHz in Britain with 500 mW of transmit power, non-hopped, and 800 mW at 1.2 Ghz. Under what ETSI spec are these higher powered devices operating?
