RF Band

The radio frequency (RF)band is part of the electromagnetic (EM) spectrum. It is generally considered that EM radiation with a frequency between 3 khz to 300 ghz is in the RF band and various regulatory bodies around the world divide up this portion of the EM spectrum for various radio services. Of course as always it is not so clear cut since the boundaries are somewhat arbituary and an electromagnetic wave at 299 ghz acts pretty much the same as an electromagnetic wave at 301 ghz. Though an EM wave at 300 khz acts very differently then an EM wave at 200 ghz.
