hi everybody,
i need a favor, can somebody tell me how to calculate the input and output matching network of this circuit. i don't know how to do it. or can somebody calculate it for me, pls.. i also need to know wht is the inductance of L1 and L2, and also Dr2. i don't know how to calculate this as well. pls help me calculate this values? i don't seem to know the way. there are certain change of value from the original circuit in the link below.
THE CHANGE IS:
C2,C4 : 20-80pF
C1,C5 : 2-27pF

Calculation method is not so simple as giving you a formulas. You must use transistor S parameters and Smith diagram to make input and output matching.
Calculating the exact values of matching circuit elements is impossible because of the transistor parameters and circuit elements tollerances. It is allways neccessary to make tunning and because of that some circuit elements are variable.
Changed cap trimmers are OK. You will be able to tune the amplifier.
