Project help in RF range finder
I am doing my final year project i.e RF range finder based on FM band
this device tells us direction,location and approx range of FM radio station that is tuned on our FM tuner
Now i want to interface it on my laptop.For this i have to use Analog to digital converter coz u know PC understands digital format
NOW problem is this that i dont know the model of Analog to digital converter card that is appropiate for FM input and can be configured at serial port also..........
PLZ anyone knows please help as urgent as possible
Trying to find 200 -300 MHz sampling adc ? or 20-30 MHz or or just 200 -300 KHz? What resolution ? ...
You dont specify your requirements even you dont specify task clearly to induce tech requirements from . What would you expect to get?

What signal do you want to put into your laptop?
The mono or stereo audio output of a normal FM tuner?
The raw output of an FM demodulator with the 19KHz pilot tone, the stereo difference signal, and RDS(europe) or rbds(USA) data ?
An intermediate frequency signal?
Somthing else?
