im an electonics engg student. im not familiar with rf circiuts as they frighten me. can any one suggest a good practical book or tutorial for rf design.

T. Lee's book is good.

Yes, I must agree that Lee's book is probably the best as it covers a range of topics in RFIC design in terms of not only the how but the why as it pertains to both theory and practical experience.
