I need to use a PIC chip for my project to build a remote controller that is connected to a wireless transmitter.

check the RF PIC and the receivers produced by microchip , also atmel have good solutions , and ti as well

Buy one develoment kit from microchip! They have pretty solutions... and good application note like "AN1066 MiWi Wireless Networking Protocol Stack"... check in microchip website!
