Hi all,
Do anyone know how to test the connector performance? Let an example,
i have two SMA connector but mixing together. i does not know which connector is
50 Ω or 75Ω.
How we know that the performance of connector (ex.VSWR) ?
Or any other method to know that the specification of connector by
using Network Analyzers?
Thanks.
Best Regards.

If it is coax, a good way to tell is to measure the inside and outside diameter and compute the impedance.
The only way I know how to tell is to use a netwrok analyzer set up for TDR. You can easily see how much reflection there is right at the connector.
You can answer the question electrically as discussed above.
Another approach is to get a good pair of calipers or a micrometer and measure the parts in your connector. Then look up the mechanical dimensions for the particular connector and the answer should be obvious. Most connector catalogs list the standard dimensions.
