1/3 octave bandwidth

These are band pass filters whose bandwidth is some fraction of the geometric center frequency. Half and third octave filter banks are commonly used on the input of high performance HF receivers.

Yea, thanks for that. For example, one octave bandwidth means the bandwidth is equal to the lower frequency. What about sub-octave and 1/3 octave? Thanks.
