How do we want to set the VSWR when designing antenna?

Hi all,

When we design an antenna, how we want to set the VSWR?
Is it 2:1 or 2.5:1 as we like? Or if the antenna design cannot meet the vswr 2:1,
then we set vswr to 2.5:1?

May anyone give some suggestions? Thanks.

From what I know,
VSWR 2:1 ~ S11 -10 dB ~ Radiation efficiency better than 90%
VSWR 2.5:1 ~ S11 -7.4 dB ~ Radiation efficiency better than 82%
so VSWR depend on your request, either 2:1 or 2.5:1.
