Hi guys
Can anyone explain what NFssb and NFdsb in the result windows in ads, I did a simulation of HB with nonlinear noise enable, what does "noise frequency" second below "nonlinear noise" mean?
I guess it is the noise frequency band, can anyone confirm it?
second.
I guess NFssb means noise figure for single side band and dsb means double side band, but since I did not choose P USB and P_LSB in p1_tone, what does NFssb and NFdsb mean?
which one is the correct noise figure, also, NFssb actually has a high value than NFdsb, it is kind of weird for me.
Thanks a lot

"noisefreq" is frequency at which you want to observe noise.
And a value assigned to this "noisefreq" is available for setting in "InputFreq".
As "InputFreq", you have to specify LSB or USB in HB_Noise_Analysis setting.
You should read ADS's manual.
And before you play EDA tool, you should read basic RF text book, e.g. "RF Microelectronics(Behzad Razavi, 1997)".
Actual instruments, e.g. Agilent N8974A or N8975A Noise Figure Analyzer, legacy NF meter such as Agilent 8970B, shows NFdsb not NFssb.
