Carrier synchronization

About homodyne reception,there is problem with synchronization of RF and LO signal.How can I make this synchronization.Or maybe phase offsets can be compensated in a signal processor,but still I do not know how to make it.

if the signal is not a DSSS signal then Costas loop will do the job

My case is QAM.

There are costas loops for quadrature signals.
