Hello all,
I am trying to design a frequency multiplier with schottky diode with LO power of around -10 to -70 dBm (5.25 GHz to 10.5GHz). I find that if LO power decreases by say 10 dbm, my output at 5.25 GHz (f) frequency decreases by 10dBm too but the out power at 10.5 GHz (2f)decreases randomly, which makes my conversion loss decrease rapidly.
Is there any reason or reference which can actually tell me about the relationship between LO power and Second order Inter modulation (2f)?
