Hi
I am trying to simulate a simple CPW in ADS momentum. I have used the differential port setup as shown in the attached image. I have also attached my substrate configuration. The simulation is giving me the following warnings:
WARNING
S-parameter results show unphysical behavior for certain frequencies.
Cause : - inaccurate (high frequency) calibration ;
- electrically large via using lumped model ;
- higher order modes at the ports ;
- slot mode at coplanar ports ;
- grouped strip-slot ports ;
- mesh density is too coarse.
and the results are strange as demonstrated in my attached image. I have also attached my workplace file.
Will be delighted if someone can help me with that.

Look at the currents at the frequencies where S-parameters are strange/unphysical. If the currents look physically correct, the problem must be from port calibration failure.
This is a strange problem that I also have encountered few times. Other than the advice that Dr. Volker gave you on the above, try to reduce (yes, reduce!) the mesh. This worked for me for a 60 GHz power combiner.
