Generating a Noisy source

Hi,

I am currently doing a project to illustrate the problems of a noisy source. I have a component list which consist of a crystal oscillator (AA33 CS20) and an octal buffer/line driver (74F244). As i am new to IC design, i do not know how to start designing the circuit such that it fulfils the criteria. Really hope that i can get help to kick start. Thanks in advance!
