Responsibilities:
•Develops and prepares multi-dimensional layouts and detailed drawings of the semiconductor devices from schematics and related geometry provided by design engineering. Work may be completed through use of CAD or other computerized equipment. Checks dimensions, writes specifications, and verifies completed drawings, artwork or digitized plots. May check design layouts and detailed drawings. The Engineer will also:
oFollows broad instructions.
oContributes to technical projects with some guidance.
oSolves problems of moderate complexity.
oApplies judgment in interpreting results and conducting quantitative analysis.
oIntegrates thorough technical knowledge within discipline.
oInteracts with more experienced team members and managers to resolve complex problems.
oApplies knowledge of a single OR multiple sub-function(s).
oMay lead or train others on the team.”
Job Requirements:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Microelectronics, Electronics)
•At least 3 years relevant experience
•Custom layout and successful tape-in experience is a must; flash layout experience is a plus
•Proficiency in layout Electronic Data Automation (EDA) tools such as Virtuoso, Hercules, Calibre in doing layout edit and Lay-out Versus Vchematic (LVS), Design Route Check (DRC), Electric Static Discharge (ESD) and NAC
•Can work highly independently. Experience in leading a small team is a plus.
•Good teamwork and communication skills
