Wireless Charging Engineer
Job Description: The Client Computing Group (CCG) Client Customer Engineering team is seeking a Wireless Charging Engineer for Atom and SoFIA-based Android and Windows tablet and phone products. As an engineer in the System Solutions team, you will work with platform firmware, software and hardware engineering teams, and key customers to design and implement solutions that help customers deliver Intel-based products more rapidly. In addition to developing applications in Java, C/C++ for next generation platforms, you will also work with key customer engineering teams to develop solution requirements, architect and implement the solutions, and develop solution packaging needed to help customers take advantage of the solutions. You may also be called on to lead System Debug and daily standup meetings needed to keep development efforts on track. Additionally, you will collaborate with validation and feature engineering teams in the establishment of a pipeline of solutions that address critical customer needs.
Minimum qualifications:
o Demonstrated success in designing and leading debug of complex architectures to aggressive deadlines and involving multiple teams.
o Develop/evolve embedded hardware and software for wireless charging
o Familiar with the Qi,PMA,A4WP wireless charging protocol, particularly the A4WP is a big plus.
o Develop/support/improve firmware in SSG scalability tools
o Analog or mixed signal circuit design for embedded board design
o Wireless technologies including wireless power, NFC, cellular and Wi-Fi
o Hands on lab experience and testing, product bring-up and debugging with analog, RF or wireless systems
o Perform verification of new ICs and support customer related issues
o Support field application team and customer to address questions related to device usage
o Product development procedures
o Partnering and working closely with product planning teams and product development teams
o Working with existing and potential customers and competitors
o Technical communication skills will be very important as you document and present complex technical information to inform and influence a variety of internal and external audiences including customers, architects, managers, and developers.
o The successful candidate should be able to thrive in a fast-paced, startup like environment.

Experience in Good understanding of Power Management & Multimedia in Linux as well as in Windows is a Plus.
