Some paper About DDS Phase noise and spur.

i once used ad9854 to generate a chirp
signal and found it easy to control,but
the shortcoming is that the power dissipation about 1w.
anyone can recommend a lower power
dissipation one?

do not forget, that exist two variants of this chip regarding on dissipation
.
It is depend on reference frequency and internal multiply factor too.

If you want an easy to understand paper book, Digital Frequency Synthesis Demystified by Bar-Giiora Goldberg is a good first book on the subject.

When I use the Qualcomm 2334 several yeasr ago, I had some.

Now , U can go to Qualcomm web site to see if it is still there.

The datasheet of 2334 and 2220 both have the thoery of DDS.
