Transceiver interface with pc modem

Can we use pc modem card with tranceiver to transmit and receive data.

Yes you can. I am not sure whether you are familar with the HAM radio. People are using modem with HF/VHF/UHF transceiver transmitting packet data over the air for a long time. The only thing you need to pay attention is protocol. You will not be able to use your current software. Use google, and you will find a lot information.
