Noise Figure obtained from ADS, Is't include "gate noise" or not?

the BSIM3 model doesn't include parameter of "gate noise", How can ADS to get out right NF if it doesn't calculate "gate noise"?

What do you mean with gate noise ? Do you refer to the gate equivalent noise temperature ?

If so, it depends on the noise model. Measurements show that the gate equivalent noise temperature is equal to the ambient temperature.

It only depends what model you used in simulation.For example ,Bsim4 includes such effect and bsim3 not.

I am having same problems!

BSIM3.3.2 and below donot include the gate induced noise at all...so irrespective of the simulator the noise figure given by ADS or CADENCE or MENTOR or HSPICE will not include gate induced noise....how ever u can add the gate noise manually!
