Anyone has ever used stub tuner?
impedance. But I want to get the right impedance at fundamental frequency
and the certain impedance at second order harmonic. How can I get this?
Besides, any material talks about how to use 3-stub tuner?
Anyone know the maury microwave?
Thanks,
This behavior is on the nature of the tuner. I think you must accept different impedence at harmonics frequencies.
Few companies produces tuners, but, for my opinion, the quality of Maury products is better. Of course Maury is a bit more expensive.
You need a diplexer filter, lowpass and highpass ports, and two different stub tuners. The crossover frequency has to be somewhere between the output frequency and its 2nd harmonic.
Thanks,
Because I want to try different harmonic termination to PA, so
I need control the impedance at different harmoinc, fundamental, 2nd, 3rd..etc.
1)Maybe, diplexer is good idea, do I need to combine the two branch so that
I can get the true signal from PA?
2)May I control the impedances of 1st and 2nd harmonc in one stub tuner?
You need an harmonic tuner. The companies that produce it are Maury Microwave and Focus.
