Who use the HFSS to design E-plane waveguide filter

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WHEN YOU USE THE HFSS to simulatie the E fileter

I am also doing a similar simulation. My design works fine when i simulate in ku band. but when i setup a new design for ka band the pass band is not visible. does it has to do with mesh refinement. please comment

YOU SHOULD CONFIGURE THE MESH MANUALLY,OR YOU WILL FIND NO PASSBAND.

How big is your filter in lambdas ?
How wide is your band pass ?

If it is not big you can use lambda refignment instead of mesh operations.
Set lambda refinment to 0.1 and number of adaptations to 1.

I just have to ask, after you build and test your Ku band filter, does its performance match the ADS prediction, or is it off 30%?
