I am doing a project on low powered sensor networks.
The project deals with the typical problems faced in distributed wireless sensor networks. Distributed networks are preferred because they consume less power. We also propose to explore the various means of having low powered networks. This would involve harnessing energy from the ambient conditions like mechanical vibrations and solar energy. Also we would like to study the various means of error detection and correction as this presents a different case as compared to normal wireless networks.
I am having problems with the implementation of the above idea using IEEE802.11g protocol. Could anybody help me?
thank you

Thank you for your reply ....I am using Ptolemy software (its a Berkeley open source product) ..Its used for heterogenous system design (like systems where both mechanical and electrical ,or analog and digital components are used....
My problem is that I have never earlier used 802.11g protocol and I tried readind the standard from IEEE website ,but I could not understand it .I would thankful if anyone of you could suggest a way out
