reflection oscillator

hi,
when i want to design a reflection oscillator as VCO,how should I choose transistor (maybe i should say ,how to determine its parameters to agree my design goals )which make it agree with my design purpose? thanks!

the fmax of the tarnsistor must be larger than the frequncy of oscillation
the gain of the amp for the osc freq must be larger than one

then check ur output power spec's

the bais voltage

the noise performance
