Low IF and Zero IF are both the popular architectures in moder RF transceiver,
these two are considered carefully in many aspects. But, I don't realize that
in the two architectures, which one needs more DSP effort and consumes more
digital resources. Please give me some ideas or reference to let me get more
sense about this.

Thanks,
i think the ZIF is the architecture which use or require more DSP processing specially for the DC offset cancellation
the low IF use directly the ADC and the the demodulation
wish this help

As my knowledge, a baseband demodulator following ADC in low IF architecture,
which is used to down convert the signal from IF frequency to BB frequency.
In heterodyne architecture, the analog demodulator plays the role instead.
It's expensive to use multiplier in digital system.
In ZIF, the DSP is not required to do this, right?
