Specs for Oscillators?

I'm new to the world of Oscillators and would like to know what the specification for a 10.245 MHz crystal controlled Colpitts oscillator should be?
Which specification are importend to look at?

I've search a lot of databases for any books, papers, magazines, etc for information but could not find anything to be of help.

I'm allso looking for the following document.
U.S. Department of Defense, Military Specification, Oscillators, Crystal, General Specification for, MIL-0-55310. The latest revision is available from Military Specifications and Standards, 700 Robbins Ave., Bldg. 4D, Philadelphia, PA 19111-5094.

Help would really be apreciated.

I think you'll use it to drive a PLL or smth else?
Some important parameters for these kind of applications..

-Frequency stability ( ppm/year)
-Phase Noise ( dBm/Hz@ref. frequency)
-Amplitude stabilty ( ppm/year/@ref. load)
-Temperature stability ( Hz/°C)
-Pulling effect ( Hz/vswr-dependency on frequency with impact of load changing)
-Pushing effect ( dependency on frequency with power supply changing )
-Aging ( Hz/year or delta voltage/year )

With all those parameters, you may use clapp , colpitts ,cyrstal or temperature compansated crystal configuration.
