Help with Dir. Coupler 0.8 - 2.2 GHz

Hi, I need help with design 3dB directional coupler 0.8 - 2.2 GHz.

This coupler are to be constructed on strip line.

I would guess you need to do an overlay coupler. That is a pattern on one circuit board, the mating pattern on the other circuit board, and have a 0.001 inch kapton sheet between the two when you mate them. That will give you the tight coupling you need for the bandwidth.

You can use a multi-section Wilkinson divider. See
