Insertion Loss and Quality factor

Hello everybody,

Can anyone explain to me what's the relationship between Insertion Loss (IL) and Quality Factor of a matching network? My understanding is that with higher Q, the IL is
smaller. But I found the different opinion in the attached article. I am confused.
