comparator with hysterisis

Sir:

May I ask for a design of a comparator with hysterisis using the op-amp MAX4309ESA?

This will be used as part of my undergraduate thesis.

Hi.
Here's one design based on the opamp you mentioned.
A transistor inverter at the opamp output helps to give digital logic levels(typical of comparator).
Also, if you want to experiment with different hysteresis at high side and low side use the two diodes(shown in fig.)

A schmitt trigger would have implemented a comparator with a hysterisis,right?
What's the difference?
