fibre loss

i want to estimate the fibre loss at certain wavelength,,,,,can anyone help me ?

For estimation of losses you can use the attached graph ..

The above graph only suites for SMF28 fiber. So it will be better to make sure that u are using that fiber.
use a caliberated source and caliberated power meter and simply find the loss through your fiber.
