Regarding the spot light to line light conversion using optic fibres

Hi,

Did anyone did the spot light to line light conversion using optic fibres. can anyone guide me how to proceed.
Please let me know.

laser beam ---> optic fiber input ---> output of optic fibre is the line light

as per i know spot can be converted in line using cylinderical lens....but i am not sure how to do using fibers

Hi,

Yes. that is another way. spot light with convex lens will converge the light beam. But we are trying with OFC. with OFC, we can bend the light as we need.
