measure fmax

I have three questions,

1) What's the schematic of measurement?

2)Do I need to do impedance matching?

3)May I use voltage source to be the exictation
and check when the voltage gian equal to 1?

the fmax , is the frequency which power gain is 1 , or 0 db

measure the S21 of the device when s21 is 0 db then is is fmax

u donot need matching circuit , coz u r chartrizing the transistor
