need help, unsure if this is the right forum

i'm looking for small ocr scanners. i only want to scan a 3.5" x 2.25" card for a 7-9 character code. if possible, i'd like it to be able to scan through a card sleeve. where can i find something like this? the only thing i've been able to find are flatbed ocr scanners.
