impedance or z-matrix

Hi i am unable to comprehend the difference between line impedance which is calculated in port modes and the impedance ( Z) matrix..... If i am using one waveguide port then line impedance should be same to Z11... But i am getting quite different results..... Also wave impedance is differnet from 377 ohms...I would be glad if somebody help me out in this regard....thanks
