How to design a MATLAB interfaced SISO?

Here SISO Iam talking about is Single input Single Output. Iam designing a Smart Antenna using SISO architecture.

I like to know how do we interface a QAM based demodulator(receiver) with the PC and also QAM based modulator(Transmitter) side with the PC. I want to use a common PC and program the whole environment. Please explain it.
