Question about Optical Application

I need to build a system with LED to create a sunlight system for home and garden.
But i don't know how to start!
So if you have experiences in this field, please share your opions!
If you have links or documents,.. please tell me about that.

Can you be a little more specific. What spectrum do you need to produce. The sun is a black body source and LEDs have several descret lines. A great deal of the spectrum would be lost from even white light LEDs.
