On offer is an opportunity for an experienced RF IC designer to join a start-up project, at its earliest stages of inception.
2 months ago, I was successful in attaining 2 patent applications for a novel Analog- RF communication system idea, both in the UK and US. Since then, I have assembled a team of two other bright and driven individuals with relevant experience in Digital and Analog Microelectronics totalling over 35years.
At this time, the basic function has been proven by behavioural models and simulation. We are looking to develop the architecture and implement a high performance design that is commercially viable. I have privately negotiated express test silicon for September 2007, with two foundries, which is also in-line within the patent?s one year development period. We will be all responsible in defining the system architecture and specifications, design implementation, simulation and layout of the IP macro and also test, etc? I am currently defining software tools and methodologies which will require your substantial input.
An RFIC designer with a minimum of 5-7years experience, a solid theoretical/practical foundation of RF system and circuit design, is needed to complete the team to four. Preferably, you are still in full-time employment, ideally in the South/SE of England and are willing to work on this project as an extra-curricular activity in the relative short term.
