Suggest me what types of RFIDs should I use in my project
i am new to RFID and know nothing about this but i have to build a wheelchair for blind people..i just think to implement RFID that it can alert the user when he pass through the RFID reader..so, can anyone suggest what types of RFID i should use and the schematic...of course it need low cost and simple one..
thanks
I hope, you understand how RFID works, and you are not using this buzzword lightly. IMHO, RFID is not a good method for doing what you are describing. RFID is good, when one side (the tag) is passive and primitive, and the other side (the reader) sophisticated and active. In your case, both sides (wheelchair and reader that wheelchair passes through) can be active. You don't need to use RFID - it will only complicate things. You should look into using just a receiver-transmitter pair.
actually, i had disscussed with my coordinator..we are going to design a white can or a wheelchair and implement the RFID mehods..how about the white can.. i am thinking to put the RFID tag inside the white can and the reader at somewhere like traffic light, also a vibrator. when the user (blind people) reach near the traffic light, it will give the signal and vibrate..
can you suggest what types of RFID i should use and the schematic...
For a RFID system, you need both a tag and an AP. Unless the street light has the AP function, your system does not work. If you just builds a demonstration system, it is fine.
Please post the block diagram of the system that you're trying to build or a link to your project's web site.
