Down conversion mixer
I'm currently working on a project which is down conversion mixer.Lets say I've already fixed which type of mixer to use but the problem is how to analyze the circuit?
I mean in terms of transistor sizing, voltage supply, value of resistors and capacitors for the mixer circuit and how to meet my specifications of the mixer. Currently, I still haven't set the specifications but I'm working on 0.18um and operating frequency of about 2GHz.Is there any books which guides on how to design the mixer and discuss the analysis of it?Thx alot.

Thx Khouly, but I cant seem to find the ebook for Design Of CMOS RF circuit : Tomas Lee
Is there anywhere I can find it?Thx
search , here on edaboard , or emule u can find it

Khouly, I have 2 more questions to ask. I've found an up conversion mixer topology on the Net. The question is can I use that up-conversion design as my down-conversion mixer just by changing the RF and LO frequencies? What is WCDMA standard and what is its operating frequency range? Thx once again, really appreciate ur help.
As to the WCDMB standard, you can use google to search it. For the basic question, just take some time, you will find answer on the net.
